Fancourtπs superb setting at the foot of the Outeniqua mountain range, together with world class facilities, make for an unforgettable golfing experience in one of the most beautiful regions in South Africa.

The Bramble Hill course is situated on undulating, sometimes hilly terrain and some of the strategically placed water hazards are scenically memorable. At the Links, sandy paths lead from green to tee through grassy mounds and numerous tranquil wetlands. Montagu is is renowned for its scenic beauty and exceptional manicuring. The garden surrounds of many of the tees at Outeniqua are also very appealing.

There are three clubhouses at Fancourt, all with full catering and bar facilities. Golf carts, trolleys and clubs are available for hire. Practice facilities include a Golf Academy, warm-up area, chipping and putting greens. Fancourt is a private resort and the Links, Outeniqua and Montagu courses are open to guests staying at the hotel. Bramble Hill is a public course and is open to all.

This well-maintained course has good bent grass greens. It is set on the banks of the Duiwenhoks River and offers a pleasant round of golf in tranquil and rustic surroundings. The clubhouse incorporates a bar and is open during the week from 16h00 and on Saturdays from 12h00. Visitors are most welcome and caddies are available for hire. A golf cart is also available for hire, but booking is required. Restaurants and food outlets in the town of Heidelberg serve as a halfway house facility.

This is a good course with a flat layout encompassing small and true greens. It is guarded on the northern side by the towering Langeberg mountains with the landmark åSleeping Beautyπ peak. The scenic Garcia Pass (Langeberg), 10 km north of the town, forms a direct link between Ladismith (Klein Karoo) and Riversdale. The pass is tarred and offers superb views of the Kafferkuils River.
