This well-maintained course, which borders on the Buffels River, is short and has wide-open fairways. Built on a former former flood plain, it has a relatively flat layout with 18 tees. Many trees have remained. Visible from the N1, visitors may be surprised at this tranquil patch of green in the otherwise drab surroundings. The small clubhouse incorporates a bar and a self-catering braai facility. Visitors are welcome. The clubhouse is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 17h00 to 20h00 and, on Saturdays, from 12h00. Seweweekspoort, a magnificent passage into the Klein Swartberg, is the most scenic route from Laingsburg (Central Karoo) to Calitzdorp (Klein Karoo). The Swartberg is characterised by high peaks and deep gorges and Seweweekspoort, incised by the Huis River, cuts Klein Swartberg off from Swartberg proper.
